Piano Toolkit is a collection of my piano learning notes over decades. It intends to help piano students and piano lovers trouble-shooting the common problems in their independent learning and practicing.

At the beginning of our piano learning journey, we often start with a method book that teaches us music theory and piano technique so we can play simple songs. As we progress in piano learning,  we face the difficulties in learning advanced music, so we need more advanced theory and technique to assist us overcoming the difficulties. But there seems to be the endless numbers of technique and theory knowledge to learn in our journey towards advanced piano studies. Will we ever learned and practiced enough to be the best pianist we can be?

I would like to think about the knowledge we learn from piano lessons and piano practicing become our tools to trouble-shoot difficulties when we are learning new music. There are essential tools in my collection I found beneficial in every stage of piano learning. Therefore, I started this project to share my collection from my decades of piano learning journey.
