Studio Policy
Payment
Studio Offers Semester Payment Plan & Monthly Payment Plan.
Tuition fees may be paid via check, cash, zelle, or Apple Pay.
All tuition payments are non-refundable.
Semester Payment Plan:
Lessons are offered weekly during the span of a given semester. Full semester amount depends upon the number of teaching days in a given Semester. (The 2024 Fall semester offers at a minimum of 12 weekly lessons between 9/1/2024 - 12/17/2024). Tuition payments are due one business day before your first lesson. Student enrolled in semester payment plan may have two lesson credits towards your next payment.
Monthly Payment Plan:
Tuition payments are due one business day before your first lesson every month. Payment reminders will be emailed to you on the first Monday of the month. According to the number of lessons you agree to attend every month, you will be charged accordingly. Please notify me of your travel plans and vacation in response to your payment reminder. Monthly enrolled student may have one lesson credit towards your next payment.
Make-up & Ending Lesson Policy
Monthly enrollment students are permitted one make-up lesson per month. Student enrolled in semester payment plan are permitted two make-up lessons per semester.
For students enrolled in group classes, please see your group class guide for reference. Make-up lessons are only offered when a notification is given to the teacher at least 24 hours before the missed lesson. Missed make-ups and lessons canceled within 24 hours cannot be made up.
*Exceptions may be made for school-related conflicts, prolonged sickness, or extenuating circumstances on an individual basis. For weather-related cancellations, I will offer a virtual lesson at your regular lesson time. If I’m sick or otherwise unable to attend a lesson, I will offer a make-up lesson (if available) or apply a lesson credit to your future payment.
When you register for lessons, you reserve a weekly time in my schedule for the duration of the month. If you choose to end lessons in the middle of a month, you will be asked to pay through the end of that month (whether you choose to have those lessons or not).
Performance Opportunity and Studio Educational Events
There will be two studio recitals (end of spring and winter semesters) held in the public performing space during the academic year. Studio classes are held monthly within my studio, providing performing practice and music lectures to students and parents. Additionally, educational field trips and social music events are organized to expand students’ experience in music learning and performing. Field trips and social events are scheduled based on availability.
Student’s participation in all studio events is not mandatory although every student is encouraged to participate. There is no fee for participation in studio class. Students participating in studio recitals and field trips may be requested to purchase tickets if there are costs involved in organizing those events, such as performance space rental and ticketed events.
